✦ AI document review

Get it right before anyone signs.

AI reads your whole document before you send it, highlights mistakes, missing terms and risky terms, and applies only the changes you approve, keeping your original layout. Then it adds the signers and fields.

AI suggestions are not legal advice. The free trial includes 15 AI pages.

What AI looks for

Three kinds of findings

Mistakes

Wrong names, dates and amounts, arithmetic errors, and blanks left unfilled in the terms.

Missing terms

Clauses a document of that type normally needs, such as force majeure, IP ownership or survival.

Risky terms

One-sided clauses, or clauses likely to be unenforceable, considering the jurisdiction named in the document.

Works with:

  • Contract or agreement
  • NDA
  • Employment and HR
  • Lease or rental
  • Finance: loans, invoices, POs
  • Proposal or quote
  • Healthcare and consent

How it works

From upload to ready-to-sign, step by step

  1. Step 01

Upload and choose “Review with AI”

After you upload a document, eSignMor asks “Review this document with AI?”. Choose Review with AI, or start it later from the document editor.

  2. Step 02

    Tell AI what it’s reading

Pick the document type. Optionally say which side you are on and what to focus on, then select Start AI review.

  3. Step 03

    See every issue in place

The full document appears with each finding highlighted where it is: red for changes to make, green once approved. Click a finding to jump to it, or step through with Previous and Next. First results appear in under a minute while slower checks continue in the background.

  4. Step 04

    Approve, edit or reject

For each finding, Approve the suggested change, Edit the wording, or Reject it. Use Select all to approve many at once.

  5. Step 05

    Apply your changes

Select Apply changes & continue to signing. AI puts in exactly the changes you approved, keeping the original layout.

  6. Step 06

Add anything else in plain words

Under “Any other changes before you send?”, type a change such as “change payment terms to Net 30”. AI finds the exact place and applies it.

  7. Step 07

Signers and fields, added for you

AI adds the signers and places signature, name and date fields, sized to match the document’s text. Everything stays editable before you send.

Layout kept

Your document, corrected. Not retyped.

  • The original PDF is edited in place: same fonts, margins and pages.
  • Old wording is truly removed, not hidden under the new text.
  • Removed clauses read “[Intentionally omitted.]”.
  • New clauses, or rewrites too long for their space, go on an Addendum page at the end that forms part of the agreement.
  • A word-for-word safety check compares the result with the original before it is used.
  • Scanned documents are read with OCR.
Accuracy check

Every finding is checked twice.

  • Every finding is checked a second time against the document’s actual text.
  • Unsupported findings and duplicates are removed.
  • Each quote is exact, so you can see precisely what would change.
  • Blank name, address, contact, signature and date lines are not flagged.
You stay in control

Nothing changes without your approval.

AI suggests; you decide. Every change is one you approved or typed yourself, the original document is kept and can be restored, and the signers and fields AI adds stay fully editable.

AI field and recipient detection

Signers and fields, found for you.

In the document editor, AI can detect who needs to sign from the names and emails in the document, and place signature, initials, name, email, date, text, number, checkbox and radio fields on the right lines. You review and adjust before you send.

Where your document is processed

AI features run on Google Cloud Vertex AI (Gemini models). Your document is processed only to provide the feature. Google Cloud’s Vertex AI terms state customer data is not used to train Google’s models.

AI pages are included in every plan.

A review uses one AI page per page of the document: a 5-page contract uses 5 AI pages. The corrected document, addendum, signers, fields and extra changes are included.
