eSignMor vs Dropbox Sign

Both send documents for legally binding e-signature. Dropbox Sign lists its team plans per user with unlimited signature requests; eSignMor’s business plans include unlimited users, are priced by the documents you send, and include AI review and the API.

Where eSignMor wins

Where eSignMor wins against Dropbox Sign, and why it matters

Each point is based on Dropbox Sign’s own pricing and help pages, linked in the sources and checked October 2026.

  1. Your whole team for one price

Everyone who sends documents can have an account, at no extra cost.

eSignMor Business is $49 a month with unlimited users. Dropbox Sign lists Standard at $25 per user a month billed yearly, for two or more users.[1]

  2. AI that reviews the contract, not only the fields

Fix a wrong date or a one-sided clause before it is signed.

eSignMor’s AI flags mistakes, missing terms and risky terms; you approve, edit or reject each one, and AI writes the approved changes into your original PDF with the same fonts and margins. AI pages are included in every plan. Dropbox Sign’s help center describes AI Auto-place Fields, a closed beta that places fields; we found no contract-review feature in its documentation.[4]

  3. API included on Business

Send from your own software for the same $49 a month.

eSignMor Business includes the REST API, signed webhooks and embedded signing; API documents count toward the plan’s monthly documents. Dropbox Sign sells its API as separate plans, from $75 a month billed yearly, and says embedded signing needs at least the Standard API plan ($250 a month billed yearly).[2][3]

  4. Unlimited templates on every paid plan

Save every document you send often, without counting.

eSignMor paid plans have unlimited templates. Dropbox Sign lists 5 templates on Essentials and 15 on Standard.[1]

  5. Branding from the first plan

Your logo and colours on every signing request, even as a one-person business.

eSignMor includes branding on Personal ($15 a month). Dropbox Sign lists branding from Standard.[1]

  6. 21 CFR Part 11 signing controls

Life-sciences teams get the extra signer checks they need.

eSignMor Business Premium ($99 a month) includes 21 CFR Part 11 signing controls. Dropbox’s help center says Dropbox Sign does not offer compliance support under 21 CFR Part 11 specific to electronic signatures.[5]

Total cost for a team

What a team pays each month

Per-user prices grow with every person who sends. eSignMor Business costs the same for 5 people or 50.

Monthly cost at list prices for a team of 5, 10 and 25 people who send documents
People sendingDropbox Sign Standard$25/user, billed yearly[1]eSignMor Business$49/mo, unlimited users
5 people40 docs a month$125$49$76 less
10 people80 docs a month$250$49$201 less
25 people200 docs a month$625$49$576 less

Per month, list prices before taxes, add-ons or discounts. “Less” is compared with Dropbox Sign Standard. Each person sends 8 documents a month. Dropbox Sign’s paid plans include unlimited signature requests, so its cost does not depend on volume; its pricing page asks teams of 5 or more to contact sales, so a quote may differ. eSignMor is shown at its monthly price; yearly billing is 10% less.

Where Dropbox Sign does more

Dropbox Sign has strengths of its own: its paid plans include unlimited signature requests, it offers a free plan (3 requests a month) and a 30-day trial, it supports HIPAA on annual Standard and Premium plans with a BAA, and it works inside Dropbox.

Which fits you

If a small number of people send a very large number of documents, a per-user plan with unlimited requests can cost less. If many people need to send, or you want AI review or the API in the same plan, eSignMor usually does.
